Whether through acts of service, participation or simply a financial contribution these charities need YOUR help! Sometimes it can seem overwhelming to decide which charity to donate to, so we will be compiling a list every month of fun upcoming charity events to help guide you in the right direction.
Love Our Neighbor Vendor Event
Saturday, December 1 @ Fern Creek United Methodist Church 11AM-4PM
This is a great opportunity to help raise funds and make donations to Louisville’s homeless street outreach ministry. Multiple vendors will be set up and a portion of the proceeds will go directly to the ministry. Donations are also greatly appreciated.

Hoops 4 Heroes
Friday, December 7 @ Thomas Nelson High School 5:30PM
During this event there will be a variety of activities featuring local recruiters and veterans with proceeds going towards the American Legion! There will be a pregame tailgate that will be in the Commons before the games, along with activities through that include a veteran recognition ceremony, a military branch tug of war challenge, a patriotic gift basket raffle and much more!
Elfapalooza
Friday, December 7 @ Galt House Hotel 6PM
Santa’s elves are at the Galt House Hotel to help give back with Marine Toys for Tots – Louisville! Admission is free with a suggested donation of a new toy. No reservations needed. After riding the Peppermint Express, kids enjoy cookies, popcorn and a hot chocolate bar. The kids cuddle up to a screening of a Christmas movie – “Elf” with Will Ferrell on Friday nights and “The Polar Express” on Saturday nights.
Winter Soiree
Saturday, December 8 @ The Ice House 8PM
This formal event benefits Camp Quality Kentuckiana. Tickets are $75 each before December 1st, and then will increase to $90 after December 1st. Tickets include open bar, food, and entertainment. Tickets and more information can be found at www.wintersoireelou.comCamp Quality is a non-profit organization that provides a week-long summer sleep-away camp for about 100 children with cancer, as well as year-round activities for the children and their families.
Jingle Bell Bash

The Friends of the Bluegrass Land Conservancy are proud to host the 2018 Jingle Bell Bash at Cross Gate Gallery in Lexington. There will be a silent auction, live music from pianist Roger Moore as well as food and drinks from Local Feed.
