Whether through acts of service, participation or simply a financial contribution these charities need YOUR help! Sometimes it can seem overwhelming to decide which charity to donate to, so we will be compiling a list every month of fun upcoming charity events to help guide you in the right direction.
A Taste of the Community

Each year, C.H.O.I.C.E, Inc. partners with local restaurants and area chefs to create an exciting and inviting array of dishes and treats that celebrate our beautiful city while bringing awareness to needs of young people we serve in Louisville. ALL PROCEEDS BENEFIT AT-RISK YOUTH SERVED BY C.H.O.I.C.E, Inc.
Cattitude: A Cat Party for Humans
Saturday, August 25 @ Copper & Kings Distillery 2PM – 6PM
Cattitude is back again for a second year and BIGGER than ever! Celebrate cats with attitude and the humans that love them! MissHappyPink is hosting a fundraiser to benefit Kentucky Humane Society. Despite the welcoming name, unfortunately, this party is restricted to humans, so please don’t bring your cat. Worry not: KY Humane Society WILL have some furry love for you to cuddle with! DO wear your cat ears, kitty shirts and be ready to take “Bad Cat Selfies” in style!
Concert for The Cause

RMHCK Summer Send Off
Monday, September 3 @ Camp Hi Ho 10AM – 4PM
Ronald McDonald House Charities Summer Send Off is an opportunity for families to spend Labor Day together at Camp Hi Ho. Tickets are just $25 per person and will include lunch, parking, a t-shirt, and all of the activities the camp has to offer. Activities include archery, fishing, canoeing, paddles boats, water trampolines, horseback riding, a giant slip n’ slide, a zip line, tree forts, and more! All proceeds benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities of Kentuckiana.
Shoes for Paws
Saturday, September 8 @ Shoe Sensation Bardstown 10AM – 6PM
Bardstown Shoe Sensation is partnering with BOBS for Dogs from SKECHERS. Get 10% off all non-clearance BOBS for Dogs from Skechers shoes during the event. A representative from the shelter will be collecting cleaning supplies, paper towels, blankets, towels, food, treats, toys, etc. There will also be pets on site for adoption.
5K Walk and Craft Fair
Saturday, September 15 @ Ray Jewell Memorial Park 9AM – 5PM
Help raise awareness for Children and Families that are affected by NF. There will be a 5K walk and vendor event. (crafts, local businesses). CTF.org helps with research, education and awareness. Proceeds will go to them to help fund research to find a cure for NF.
Abel Construction Clubs & Cocktails

St. Vincent de Paul Louisville’s largest annual fundraiser includes a Dinner and Auction on Sunday evening at the Louisville Marriott East and a Golf Scramble on Monday at the Hurstbourne Country Club.

The 2018 SBAK Golf Scramble will help raise funds Spina Bifida Association of Kentucky’s FREE programs and services provided to individuals affect by Spina Bifida in Kentucky and Southern Indiana.
ACS’s 15thAnnual Bark in the Park

Bark in the Park is a celebration of all things canine. Each September, The Animal Care Society welcomes the general public to one of Metro Louisville’s most popular green spaces – Seneca Park. Participate in the 5K, hang out with your dog(s) by the kiddie pools, munch on pizza and hot dogs, participate in fun contests, learn about rescue organizations and animal-friendly businesses nearby, and meet amazing animal lovers right here in Louisville!
