There are wonderful charities throughout Kentucky working to help people from all walks of life. Whether through acts of service, participation or simply a financial contribution these charities need YOUR help! Sometimes it can seem overwhelming to decide which charity to donate to, so we will be compiling a list every month of fun upcoming charity events to help guide you in the right direction.

Bundle Up with Bourbon & Blues

Human Trafficking Awareness Conference

Tuesday, February 12 @ Swain Student Activities Center 5PM

The University of Louisville Women’s Center and Women 4 Women Student Board are raising awareness of human trafficking in Kentucky to educate students and the community about the complex issue of human trafficking and to encourage taking action to prevent it. This year’s conference will focus on the sexual exploitation and trafficking of youth. Speakers and breakout sessions to be announced soon. Check the event page for more info.

Wrapped in Red Gala

This party for a purpose supports the American Red Cross Louisville Area Chapter’s community disaster programs and services.  Attend the full gala experience which includes cocktail hour, 3 course meal, dancing and live and silent auction.
