Products are recalled every day and it’s important to stay up to date on those recalls in order to keep you and your loved ones safe. Below are a few recent recalls that may affect you.
Forest River Recalls 2020 Surveyor
169 recreational trailers have been recalled due to improper installation of 30K BTU furnace. It may not have been properly secured, allowing it to move freely in the cabinet. This may lead to the furnace detaching form the exhaust vent causing a buildup of carbon dioxide inside the vehicle. Forest River will notify owners and dealers will secure the furnace free of charge.
2020 AWD Mazda CX-30 Recalled
12,097 Mazda CX-30s with all-wheel drive have been recalled. The evaporative vent hose for the fuel tank may be disconnected, allowing fuel to leak from the vent at the rear of the vehicle. This may increase risk of fire or an engine stall. Mazda will notify owners and dealers will perform repairs free of charge.
GSK Recalls Children’s Cough Medicine
Children’s Robitussin Honey Cough & Chest Congestion DM and Children’s Dimetapp Cold & Cough has been recalled. The dosing cups may be missing markings which poses risk of accidental overdose.
Vermeer Recalls Woodchippers
Model year 2020 BC1500 and BC1200XL woodchippers have been recalled as the wheel lug nuts may loosen and fall off increasing risk of crash. Vermeer will notify owners and dealers will replace the wheel assemblies.
Simply Earth Recalls Wintergreen Essential Oil
2,935 containers of Simply Earth Wintergreen Essential Oil have been recalled because the packaging is not child resistant. While no incidents have been reported, the product does contain methyl salicylate which poses a risk of poisoning if swallowed by a small child.
KYMCO Recalls 2018-2019 Like 150i Scooters
1,786 scooters have been recalled due to excessive grease applied to the ABS sensor magnetic ring. This may cause it to deteriorate resulting in ABS failure. KYMCO will notify owners and dealers will clean the sensor free of charge.
Lochinvar Recalls Condensing Residential Boilers
38,000 boilers have been recalled in the U.S. and Canada. The flue grommet can deteriorate and dislodge during use, allowing the boiler to emit carbon monoxide. Seven reports have been made; one report does involve two nonfatal cases of carbon monoxide poisoning.
