There are wonderful charities throughout Kentucky working to help people from all walks of life. Whether through acts of service, participation or simply a financial contribution these charities need YOUR help! Sometimes it can seem overwhelming to decide which charity to donate to, so we will be compiling a list every month of fun upcoming charity events to help guide you in the right direction.

Ride to End Animal Cruelty

Saturday, June 22 @ The Arrow Fund 9:30AM

Registration will start at 9;30AM, Kickstands up at 11:30AM. Cost will be $20.00 per rider and $15 for passenger. Cost of ride includes a meal at Kingfish and the 1st 100 riders registered will receive a t-shirt. Visit their event page for more information.

Fiesta Del Sol

Saturday, June 22 @St. Simon & Jude Gymnasium 6-9PM

A night of community, food, music, and dancing to benefit Doors to Hope. Doors to Hope is a ministry of the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth that opens learning opportunities, encourages community involvement and engages in advocacy for immigrant women and families living in Louisville. Horsepower for Heroes

Saturday, June 29 @ Kentucky Exposition Center 5PM

Watch officers compete in multiple challenges, including an autocross event where spectators are invited to race against patrol cars. All proceeds will benefit Kentucky Wounded Heroes. Visit their event page for more information.

Red Hat Affair

Saturday, June 29 @ Churchill Downs 12-6PM

Enjoy a day on Millionaire Row with food from Chef Buffet, in support of African-American Cancer Survivorship. Click here for details.

A Night in Margaritaville

Friday, July 12 @ Frankfort Country Club 7-11PM

A fun filled event with food, games, prizes, music and auctions, all benefiting Simon House. Simon House is a nonprofit organization serving homeless women who are pregnant or have children. They provide a safe and healthy environment that encourages, educates, and empowers residents to become self-sufficient. Click here for tickets.

Steps to Independence Walk Kick Off

Saturday, July 20 @ Down Syndrome of Louisville 12-4PM
