2019 Kia Forte Recall
Kia Motors America is recalling 1,754 model year 2019 Kia Fortes equipped with LED headlights. The headlights may not have been manufactured with the correct low beam aiming. If the headlights are not aimed properly, the driver may have reduced visibility, increasing the risk of a crash. Kia will notify owners, and dealers will replace headlights free of charge.
YTL International Recalls Log Splitters
About 1,460 County Line Log Splitters have been recalled. The welding on the tongue box assembly can crack and cause the tank to disconnect from the rest of the unit, posing an injury hazard. Units with serial numbers ranging from SP20LSP400118060001 through SP20LSP400118060728 and SP20LSP400118080001 through SP20LSP400118080728 are included in this recall. The model and serial numbers can be found on a label located on the beam of each log splitter. Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled splitter and contact YTL International for free replacement.
Lifetone Technology Recalls Bedside Fire Alarm Clocks
Lifetone Technology of Oklahoma City, Okla., is recalling about 10,000 bedside fire alarms and clocks. The device can fail to operate and fully alert consumers to a fire. The firm has received 77 reports of alarms with a blank screen. No injuries have been reported. Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled product if the digital display is not working and contact Lifetone Technology to receive a prepaid label for the return of the alarms and instructions on receiving a free replacement alarm.
Sandoz Recalls Blood Pressure Medication
Sandoz is recalling one lot of Losartan Potassium Hydrochlorothiazide Tablets. The blood pressure medication, manufactured by Lek Pharmaceuticals contains a trace amount of an impurity, N-nitrosodiethylamine (NDEA), which has been classified as a probable human carcinogen. Subaru Recalls Imprezas, Crosstreks And Toyota Scion Vehicles
Subaru of America is recalling 165,534 model year 2012-2014 Subaru Imprezas, model year 2012-2013 Impreza Stationwagons, model year 2013 Subaru BRZ, XV Crosstreks and Toyota Scion FR-S vehicles. The engine valve springs in these vehicles may fracture causing an engine malfunction or a possible engine stall, increasing the risk of a crash. Owners and dealers will be notified.
Black & Decker Recalls Hammer Drills
The side handle sold with the drill can slip or break, leading to a loss of control of the tool, posing an injury hazard. The firm has received 11 reports of side handles slipping or breaking and one report of a torn rotator cuff injury.

Frito-Lay Recalls Smartfood Delight Sea Salt Flavored Popcorn
The product contains cheese flavored tortilla chips containing milk, an allergen not declared on the label. No illness related to this matter has been reported to date.
The product was sold only in the following two variety packs:
- 16 count Smartfood Delight Variety Pack Sack – “use by” dates of 4 DEC 2018 OR 18 DEC 2018, and 11-digit manufacturing code that will include the letter combination AM in the second and third position (example: xAMxxxxxxxx)
- 16 count Crunch & Pop Mix Variety Pack Sack – “use by” dates of 18 DEC 2018 OR 1 JAN 2019, and 11-digit manufacturing code that will include the letter combination AM in the second and third position (example: xAMxxxxxxxx)
